World Fudokan Federation and Fudokan Romania together with PZKT – Polish Traditional Karate Do Federation has the great honor of hosting the 85 YEARS JUBILEE GALA, dedicated to Prof. Dr. Ilija Jorga 10 Dan – the Founder of Fudokan Karate.This event will take place on the occasion of the third edition of the “Sasori Cup” in Ploiești/Prahova, on November 15 2025, at the CENTRAL ***** Hotel.
“It is a distinct honor and joy for the members of the Fudokan Romania to offer this anniversary gala to Prof. Dr. Ilija Jorga 10 Dan, the Founder of Traditional Fudokan Karate — a man whose lifelong dedication to martial arts, education, and human values continues to inspire generations worldwide,” declared the President of WFF World Fudokan Federation, Sensei Constantin CĂLIMAN, 7 Dan.
Numerous personalities and disciples of the honorable Prof. Dr. Ilija Jorga 10 Dan will attend the event, intending to express their deep recognition and gratitude for everything Prof. Dr. Ilija Jorga represents in the world of karate.
Among them will be: Adrian Popescu Săcele 9 Dan, one of the pioneers of Romanian karate and the President of the WSF – World Shotokan Federation, Căliman Constantin 7 Dan – President of the WFF World Fudokan Federation, Apan Mihai 8 Dan, General Secretary of the WFF – World Fudokan Federation, Anatol Kalasznikow / PZKT – Polish Traditional Karate Federation, Maciejewski Andrzej Kazimierz / PZKT – Polish Traditional Karate Federation, and others.
The event will unfold according to the following program:
- 18:00 – Screening of the representative film about the life dedicated to karate of Prof. Dr. Ilija Jorga, 10th Dan;
- 18:45 – Presentation of the autobiographical book “KARATE – THE TRUE STORY OF SENSEI HIGASHIYAMA”;
- 19:30 – Jubilee 85 Years & Gala Dinner, an event attended by all invited guests of Prof. Dr. Ilija Jorga, alongside numerous representatives of the central and local public administration.
